Recently, Google launched the Google Pixel 9 series in one of its events, in which Google's Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold were seen.

Which model is the most affordable and highly anticipated? The Google Pixel 9a hasn’t been launched yet, but leaks have started to surface.

Google has integrated the Tensor G4 SoC with Titan M2 security in the Pixel 9 series. However, leaks suggest that it will be paired with an Exynos modem, which was used in the Pixel 8 lineup.

According to an Android Authority report, just like the Pixel 9 series will feature the Tensor G4 SoC, the Google Pixel 9a will also use the Tensor G4 SoC. But it will be a different version, as it will use the new Exynos Modem 5400, which supports Satellite SOS.

To make it more affordable, Google has used Samsung’s iPoP (Package on Package) instead of the G4’s FoPLP (Fan-Out Panel Level Packaging) in the Pixel 9. However, I should tell you that compared to FoPLP, iPoP is thicker and generates more heat.

As for the design, leaks suggest that the Pixel 9a will have a design quite different from the Pixel A series and the Pixel 9 series. It may feature new design rear panels, which we might see between March and May next year.
